Living Proof

I am living proof that God does answer prayers
I got a second chance in life, a new life with different layers

Before my accident my companies got in financial trouble for the first time
I felt I didn’t deserve that, I went out of my way to help people all the time

I would pray and pray why me, God, why me?
He gave me answer
An unexpected answer, with all that was happening I didn’t agree

I had a life changing accident; I literally died and came back to a two month coma
God brought me back and I woke up feeling free like a good aroma

My sisters took care of my businesses and they got me out of debt
And with God of course
Never expecting this, believe me, they definitely broke a sweat

My wife took care of our children while I was out
Mark my words
They are what my life is about

God works in mysterious ways, when I woke up, I was problem free,

I thank God every day and I pray, always, you see,
when you let God drive your life, you won’t disagree.

The 6th Againts The 7th

I crashed at 11:45pm, had my life changing accident on the 6th
The Devils number
He did not succeed, I was able to continue my life, unfixed

I was brought back to life with CPR on the 7th
God’s number
I still get to be married and to my children be a parent

I feel lost, I don’t know what to do
In God I will trust, I will keep depending on him
He always gets me thru hard times, times that I feel blue

I want to live to his expectations
What I meant to do
I want to do it right, Live life to the fullest, no limitations

My Look at Life

After my accident, my eyes have been opened
I look at life different, appreciate the little things more
Life is definitely a gift, Life is worth more than a few tokens

I have thoughts of what I am going to do next,
I must do something, I must be a man, earn my families love and respect

I really feel like I am at a standstill
May God show me the way, the right way, may he get me over this problem hill

I must be a man and confront all with my chest out
I have to be strong, I have to move forward and be all about

Keep my head above water, take care of my family
Enjoy every day, keep working hard, and continue to move forward, those are my responsibilities, primarily
