I was born in Worcester, MA. I lived in Puerto Rico from 1 to 9 years old before moving to California. California is what I really call home. I had some pretty cool experiences over a 10-year period in California. Performed on television twice...had a really interesting teenage life there. Met who I now call my wife. Drove across country to Central Florida. Started my own 3 companies. On August 6, 2016, I got into a very traumatic motorcycle accident and I suffered from a traumatic brain injury (TBI). I lost almost everything and had to start all over again.
About 1.7 million cases of TBI occur in the U.S. every year. Approximately 5.3 million people live with a disability caused by TBI in the U.S. alone. Moderate disability and severe disability each occur in about a sixth of patients, with moderate disability being slightly more common. About 33 percent of these patients do not survive. The remaining few percent remain persistently vegetative.
Today, I am trying to live somewhat of a normal life and get my life back in order. I am blessed to be able to walk, talk, drive and have my family.
